Other Licensing Requirements

Washington DC Appraisers are required to take 28 continuing education hours every 24 months including the 7-hour USPAP refresher course.

Non-DC approved Certificates must state explicitly that the Courses are approved by another Appraisal Regulatory body or the Appraisal Qualification Board’s (AQB) Course Approval Program (CAP)

Online Limitations

The District of Columbia has no limitations on the number of continuing education hours that may be completed online.

State Reporting of CE Credit

The education provider does NOT report completed continuing education to the DC Real Estate Appraisers Board.
