Do not let it happen!

How would you feel if you found out that lead dust, left behind on your job site, poisoned a young child and caused irreversible brain damage?

Become certified to use lead safe work practices…It is the law!

Most homes in Vermont contain dangerous concentrations of lead-based paint (LBP). Help protect families from lead poisoning…get certified today!

If you disturb one square foot of painted surface in a pre-1978 home in Vermont you must be certified as a Renovation, Repair, Painting & Maintenance Supervisor (RRPM Supervisor).

This is the ONLY course in the country that offers all the LBP certifications to work in pre-1978 homes in one day, including:

  • RRPM – Renovation, Repair, Painting & Maintenance (8 hours required in VT),
  • IRC – Inspection, Repair and Cleaning (2-3 hours required in VT),
  • EPA RRP – Environmental Protection Agency for Renovation, Repair, Painting (8 hours meets HUD national training requirement).

REMEMBER!

Any work completed for compensation that disturbs 1 ft.² or greater in a Vermont pre-1978 home requires RRPM Supervisor Certification to avoid fines! Vermont requires both RRPM and IRC to become an RRPM Supervisor and work for a fee.

The VT Department of Health has begun enforcement actions and if you are caught working without RRPM Supervisor certification you can be fined $5,000 per day per violation.
