Other Licensing Requirements
Certified general real property appraisers, certified residential real property appraisers, licensed real property appraisers, and associate real property appraisers shall:
- Complete fourteen (14) hours of approved continuing education each license year; and
- Furnish the board with proof of compliance.
All credential holders shall successfully complete the seven (7) hour National USPAP Update course, or its equivalent by May 15 of each even-numbered year. Users must also complete the 7 hour Valuation Bias and Fair Housing course approved by The Appraisal Foundation.
Online Limitations
Kentucky has no limit to the number of continuing education hours that may be completed online.
Other Limitations
Credit for repeating the same course title and content within a twenty-four month (24) period shall not be granted.
State Reporting of CE Credit
The education provider reports completed continuing education credit to the Kentucky Real Estate Appraisers Board weekly. Should the licensee require alternate reporting please send a request to info@Calypsoedu.com. Requests are generally processed within 24 hours.

Filing a Complaint with the Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education
To file a complaint with the Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education, a complaint shall be in writing and shall be filed on Form PE-24 May 2022, Form to File a Complaint, accompanied, if applicable, by Form PE-25 May 2022, Authorization for Release of Student Records.

Existence of the Kentucky Student Protection Fund
Pursuant to KRS 165A.450 All licensed schools, resident and non-resident, shall be required to contribute to a student protection fund. The fund shall be used to reimburse eligible Kentucky students, to pay off debts, including refunds to students enrolled or on leave of absence by not being enrolled for one (1) academic year or less from the school at the time of the closing, incurred due to the closing of a school, discontinuance of a program, loss of license, or loss of accreditation by a school or program.
Process for Filing a Claim Against the Kentucky Student Protection Fund
To file a claim against the Kentucky Student Protection Fund, each person filing must submit a signed and completed Form for Claims Against the Student Protection Fund, Form PE-38 May 2022 and provide the requested information to the following address:
