7-hour Valuation Bias and Fair Housing Laws & Regulations

This 7-hour course fulfills the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) continuing education (CE) requirement for real property appraisers. Beginning January 1, 2026, all state-credentialed appraisers must complete this course to meet AQB and state regulatory CE requirements.

The course addresses bias and discrimination in real property appraisal, including fair housing and fair lending laws and regulations. It also covers best practices to help appraisers avoid bias and legal violations, and explores cultural competency—what it is and why it matters.
